The CASCADE PLUS men's outdoor pants feature a hybrid fabric construction that adapts to a wide range of body types while providing protection exactly where it is needed. A more durable, warmer fabric is used in the seat, knee, and lower leg panel areas, while a highly elastic and breathable fabric is placed below the knees, on the calves, in the crotch, and on the rear yoke to maximise freedom of movement and efficiently wick away moisture.

The comfortable, partially elastic waistband features an integrated belt and suspender attachment loops, ensuring a secure fit even during demanding activities. Two front pockets and one side pocket remain easily accessible while wearing a climbing harness. The lower leg has been updated with a modern zipper featuring a locking slider, replacing the previous heavy-duty zipper with a storm flap and Kevlar reinforcement—a lighter, simpler solution offering the same reliable performance.

The leg hem features a boot hook for secure attachment to footwear and a zipper that allows the leg opening to expand easily over ski or mountaineering boots. By simplifying several construction details compared to the previous version, the overall weight of the pants has been reduced while maintaining the same reliability and durability that CASCADE PLUS is known for.
