This top-notch insulating jacket in a modern and simple design is made of a revolutionary new fabric Thindown™. Only requires half the thickness of synthetic filling to achieve comparable thermal resistance. The advantage is therefore a much lower volume compared to synthetics. This fact — the even insulation across the entire surface, the natural ability of feathers to transport moisture and create a comfortable micro-climate inside the product — are the main benefits of this material. Due to the down fabric construction, there is no migration of feathers through the top or bottom fabric. Therefore, it is possible to combine this insulation with the highly breathable outer material Pertex Quantum Air in order to develop a super warm, highly breathable and ultralight insulating jacket that is suitable either as an outer layer jacket or as a base layer under a hardshell. The hood is insulated with synthetic insulation to speed up drying against rain or perspiration. We’ve successfully tested the jacket during ascents in the Alps and Andras and can recommend it whole heartedly to all mountain enthusiasts and fans of fast and light.
