For example, the Patrol Tech and Mountainer Tech pants are both made from highly abrasion-resistant materials with a high polyamide content, the most durable textile fiber available. This material has been laboratory tested on the Martindale device, achieving a standard 60,000 "abrasion cycles."
For comparison, 15,000 cycles corresponds to about 3 years of regular use. 60,000 cycles, therefore, equates to approximately 12 years of use—and our customers often find their pants last even longer, as they are not subjected to the extreme conditions of standardized testing.
