History
The founders of Direct alpine shared an interest in outdoor activities; activities such as climbing, paragliding, telemarking. In that time, however, there wasn’t a jacket available that would match their requirements, so they constructed their own model. Closely following were the Patrol trousers that filled the niche in outdoor equipment market. Based on them – today already legendary technical trousers for wide outdoor public – started the history of DIRECTALPINE.
DIRECTALPINE is the direct way to the top, goal, purpose, to perfection without any detours, loops and compromises. The mark name is supported by a symbol of an arrow of stones showing direction forward up. The stones as well as we are the parts of nature – outdoor. Everyone who has ever played the hare and hounds game knows that such a stone arrow means a message: “this is the right way, this is the way to your aim”.
Our intention
is to develop our products dynamically and purposefully so they are practical and fit all the requirements they are designed for as well as excel in technical elaboration and design. The mark DIRECTALPINE is a synonym of functionality.
